For you...Her wrists hang, bound, bleeding from chains of no reality, chains of abstract fear, chains that are the symbol of her slavery to her heart. She hangs her head now, deaf to the world and your words. She’d lost all direction, all hope, all faith. The song she used to sing has died, fading into the timeless silence of her dying soul. So here she sits, kneeling in her own blood, kneeling in her own tears and memories. Empty, dry eyes stare at the black liquid, seeking the answer, but they see not the swirling confusion of the present. They see a time gone be, as clear now as the day they happened. Nothing had faded. Those grey eyes stare iFor you...

Torture seared not Your skin, where chains Hold your wrists And your wings.

Branding irons boiled Your happiness. Whips smiled on the Back of your joy.

Ghostly hands reach for me, Screaming, shrieking to stay.
